More recently, it is important to establish the Galician Drama Center as a stable public theatrical company alongside independent companies. At this stage, we can identify three generations:

First Generation: Post-War Era

The first consists of the post-war generation of shows from the Ribadavia Theater and the generation of the Drama Center. Galician authors who lived with playwrights before '36 represent continuity with the renewal of the drama that was being made in previous years to raise military authors, such as Blanco Amor or Cunqueiro Xenaro. Cunqueiro will be another representative of the renewal process of the theater with their Galician drama, The Uncertain Sines Don Hamlet of Denmark. The last of the successors is Xenaro, author of several pieces that appear collected in The Serpent and the Revolt and Other Hoaxes. These set pieces are esperpento in which he explores the way of revolution as a solution to social problems.

Two authors stand out in the first generation of the post-war period: Daniel Cortezón and Manuel Maria. The first is known for its stage production of a historical theme. In addition to the dramatic theme, he wrote a work dedicated to emigration, On the Diaspora. The other author of this first generation is Manuel Maria, author of several dramatic plays, belonging to several genres. Author of several files, the innkeeper, a work of mythological theme Oedipus and a work belonging to the popular theater, Barriga Verde.

Second Generation: Ribadavia Theater and Beyond

The second generation is closely related to the Ribadavia Theater show and the theater competition dawn, and these two initiatives have been named. Included in this second generation are Manuel Lourenço, Euloxio Ruibal, and Vidal Bolaño. Lourenço is one of the most significant figures in the Galician twentieth-century theater scene. His theatrical work is very extensive, making him one of the most prolific playwrights. He is the author of works such as Pilgrimage Caves dodemo, Journey to the Country of Nowhere, and All the Children of Gilead.

The third member of this generation is Vidal Bolaño, who championed film, directing, and authorship. He was a winner of the theater's editions with works like Laudamuco, Lord of Nowhere or Ladaiñas the Death of Meco.

Third Generation: The Galician Drama Center

The following generation is very dependent on the entry of the Galician Drama Center. The Galician Drama Center gives playwrights the opportunity to stage their parts with an ambitious scenario and through a circuit and a permanent theater company. We highlight the Palace and Candido Anxo Enclosed. The first is the author of plays like A Blackbird, Commedia. The other author is Angelo Walled. They buy together the work of companies and professional/amateur theaters who fill the stage with the Galician representation of parts denounces Galician authors.
