People Who Stay: My Best Friend

As years go by, many people leave, but not all, because there are many people who stay by your side year after year. These people could be friends or family. In my case, I would like to write about my best friend (BFF). Her name is D, and she is 18.

D's Profile and Personality

She was born in Me in 2001. She is tall and thin, and also a bit strong and fit because she does sports every single day. Personality-wise, she is intelligent, hard-working, nice, and friendly. However, she is a bit talkative.

Physical Appearance

Regarding her physical appearance, she has long, blonde hair. Even so, she hasn’t any freckles, and she wears glasses. She loves playing tennis and has been playing since she was 5.

Life Changes and Distance

A couple of years ago, she moved to Madrid for family issues, and this year she started her studies there. As I said before, she lives in Madrid, but I live in Me. For this reason, we usually see each other from time to time, either because she comes to the island for a few days or I go there.

However, we stay in contact all day via WhatsApp, Skype, or other social media. We have known each other since we were children. Before she went to Madrid, we had always been together in class.

Cherished Moments and Challenges

The most beautiful moments and experiences that I have from our childhood are numerous. For instance, one of the things I love about our relationship is that just looking at each other, we start to laugh for a long time. When I am with her, I am really happy, and I disconnect from all the problems I could have at that moment.

On the other hand, we have also experienced not-so-nice moments. We don’t have the same points of view all the time, and for this reason, we argue quite a lot, but now not as much as a few years ago. We had a period of time in which we were always angry with each other. She used to attack me until I gave up. But minutes later, we always made up.

Qualities I Admire

A thing that I admire about her is the smile that she always has on her face. I usually tell her that I would like to have these qualities because she can take all things in a positive way and more comfortably. For example, if she has a problem, when she comes to me, she doesn’t show it; minutes later, she was discussing, a thing that I am not able to do.

Conclusion of Our Bond

In these five years, we have been friends. She has become an important and essential person in my life. I love her so much, and I hope that our relationship will never end.
