Basic Rules
The basic rules to follow in terms of Social Security (SS) are as follows:
- General Law SS: RD 1 / 1994 of June 20th.

- General Regulations for Charging the SS System.

- Special Collectives: Régimen Conventions Employee Home: This will include all persons over 16 who are engaged in national territory to provide domestic services for one or more households in the home of the family head in exchange for payment of any kind.
Be considered within this scheme childcare workers, gardening, driving, and similar roles that are developed as part of all household chores. Within this scheme, employees of the home are classified into two groups:
- Fixed Home Employees: Those who provide services to one or more households for a time less than 80 hours of actual work per month. In this case, the application for membership, high, or low is made by the householder.
- Hogar Employees: Those who provide services to one or more households, partially or intermittently, for at least 72 hours of actual work per month, to be carried out at least for 12 days in that month. In this case, the application for membership, high, or low employee is undertaken by the General Treasury of Social Security: a common service that unifies all the economic resources and financial administration of the SS system.
Core Competencies Include:
- Business registration, membership registrations, cancellations, and changes of worker data.
- Management and control of contributions and collection of fees and other funding resources for the SS system.
- Ownership, management, and wealth management of the SS.
- Management of financing and managing the payment of the obligations of the SS.
- Management of the reinsurer function for accidents.
