If this is done, it will help to decrease the amount of plastic bags being thrown away and will decrease contamination. This measure will also minimize deforestation, since paper bags are often an alternative to plastic bags. Another action to take care of the environment is to separate your garbage into different containers: on the one hand, organic waste, such as food and paper; on the other hand, inorganic waste, like plastic.

Finally, the best way to help the planet is to raise awareness among other people. In this way, we will *all* help the environment.
