Pliars: The plier is a hand tool. It is my favorite tool. It is very useful for many kinds of different jobs; for example, it is useful for electricians. It is made of metal, plastic, steel, and other materials. It has a plastic handle, which is insulating. It is used for picking up objects and cutting wire; also, this tool is used for tightening wires. There are many kinds of pliers, like needle nose pliers, clamping pliers, lineman pliers, and side-cutting pliers.
Cutting Tools: It has a special insulating plastic handle and a steel blade. It is made of a lot of different colors. There are many kinds of cutting tools like cutters, electrician scissors, wire strippers, and hacksaws. These tools are very dangerous because they can cut your hands or fingers.
Screwdrivers: This tool in Spanish is called "destornillador". It has a plastic handle that is insulating; also, it has a metal component. At the end of the handle, there is a head that can be flat or star-shaped. It is used for driving in screws in electric fixtures and electrical boxes. I have screwdrivers of all sizes: small, medium, and large. There are many kinds of screwdrivers like hex keys, nut head drivers, Robertson, and flat head drivers. There is also another type of screwdriver which is a cordless power screwdriver.
Measuring Devices: They are made of different materials like plastic, steel, iron, etc. They are used for measuring distances. There are many different types like measuring tape, torpedo level, and tri-square. Each one is used for a specific purpose; for example, the measuring tape is used for measuring distance, the torpedo level is used to determine if something is level or not, and the tri-square is used to make plans.
Gripping Tools: There are many kinds of gripping tools like fuse pullers, spanners, sockets, and crescent wrench sets. The fuse puller is used for removing fuses. It has an insulating handle. The spanner is made of metal and is used for unscrewing; it isn't insulating, so it isn't used as much by electricians. The crescent wrench has an insulating handle, so it is used by electricians.
Power Tools: There are many different types like power drills, power saws, and electric soldering tools; they can be wired or wireless. They are used for cutting, drilling, and soldering.
