Enhancing Academic Excellence at UPAO University

Introduction

The purpose of this report is to make some recommendations on ways to improve the academic environment for students of UPAO. I recently finished my studies at this prestigious university, and in general, I was quite satisfied with the equipment, teachings, and experience that I acquired in all these years of study. The campus of the university is very spacious, comfortable, and has excellent libraries and a large auditorium that has just opened. Nevertheless, there are still many improvements to be made so that students in general grow enormously in their professional training, as I detail below.

Laboratories and Equipment

First of all, in the university, there are not many laboratories for the student to gain superior knowledge about the practices made by oneself. Many laboratories are needed so that the student does not need to resort to other universities to do their trials and spend money on transportation and time. It is also necessary that these laboratories are well-equipped with instruments that facilitate the student's practices and make them feel comfortable as they expand their knowledge. I have realized that there are many materials that are already outdated and some are broken.

Administrative Staff and Modern Equipment

Another area where you can improve is the management of paperwork. There are many people who wait in innumerable queues to complete their procedures, whether for payments, managing folders, or even making a claim. This is not satisfactory for the institution. The best way is to hire staff with a well-trained level to attend to students quickly, using last-generation computers and printers so that the work of both the staff and the student is not delayed. Often, the system goes down because there is no internet, or the printer is not working, or the computer is very slow or broken. Students have the right to better treatment and better facilities.

Suggestions

First, I suggest that the university provide many more spacious and modern laboratories with recently updated equipment so that the student has the facility to work in groups, interact, and learn with their colleagues and debate in their trials to get better knowledge. On the other hand, I suggest that you hire staff with greater experience in their positions so that the procedures which the student must do move much faster, using the latest generation of equipment so there is no problem or delay in anyone's work. The students deserve this improvement for a good professional future.
