Verb Tenses

Present Simple

Used for habitual actions and true situations.

Examples:

Present Continuous

Used for actions happening now, temporary actions, and definite future plans.

Examples:

Past Simple

Used for completed actions in the past.

Past Continuous

Used for incomplete actions in progress at a specific time in the past, interrupted actions, and two simultaneous actions in the past.

Present Perfect Simple
