Elements of the Drainage Network
Siphons: Allow wastewater to be evacuated and prevent odors from entering homes.
Connections: A set of horizontal pipes that connect the various sanitary fixtures with downpipes.
Downpipes: Vertical pipes that collect water from connections, toilets, and roofs.
Collectors: These are the horizontal pipes buried in the ground that connect to the downpipes, channeling water to the siphonal chamber.
Siphonal chamber: Provides a hydraulic closure and prevents odors and sewer rats from entering the drains in the houses.
The Water Bill
Specifies what we pay for the service and consumption of water in a given period.
Service Fee: The fixed fee entitles you to consume water.
Consumption: The variable amount billed.
Taxes: VAT (Value Added Tax).
Gas Installation
Responsible for bringing fuel gas and domestic gas for evacuation, if necessary, of the resulting combustion gases with the highest security conditions.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG): Butane and propane. They are distributed in a liquid state and must be stored in suitable containers.
Piped Gas: Natural gas and manufactured gas are distributed in a gaseous state through buried pipes.
Elements of Gas Installations
Pipes: Connect the distribution network with gas appliances.
Shut-off valve: Opens and closes the gas supply inside the installation and to the different devices.
Meter: Measures the gas consumption in m3 for the dwelling.
Vents: Facilitate the exchange of air with the outside.
Exhaust duct: Prevents combustion gases from accumulating inside the house.
Butane Installations
Bottle: Stores the gas under pressure in liquid form.
Pressure regulator: Supplies the fuel at a constant low pressure.
Gas Appliances
These are devices that basically use the heat generated in gas combustion to carry out activities.
Open-circuit appliances: Take the required air for combustion from the atmosphere of the enclosure where they are installed.
Sealed-circuit appliances: The combustion circuit has no communication with the air of the enclosure where they are installed.
The Gas Bill
Fixed Term: Fixed amount billed per month.
Gas consumption: Variable part of the bill.
Meter rental amount.
VAT (Value Added Tax).
Terms of Use, Maintenance, and Conservation of Gas Installations
Avoid extinguishing the flames of the stove when cooking.
Oversee the condition and expiration of the placement tube of cooking stoves.
During long absences, close the appliance valves and the main shut-off valve of the dwelling.
