Last summer I went to Cordoba with my friends Franco and Cristian. We visited Carlos Paz and Villa Maria because other friends told us there were a lot of things to do there. The first week we went to Carlos Paz. There, we explored different rivers, went shopping, and met the Cucu clock. We thought the Cucu was really big, but it is very small; we were disappointed.

The second week we went to Villa Maria. My grandparents live there, so we visited their house. My grandmother cooks really well. We returned to San Rafael with 10 kg more. In Villa Maria, we attended a lot of parties. It is a really fun place!

We really enjoyed the holidays. Next summer, we want to go to Buenos Aires.

Argentina has many beautiful places. In the north, we have the Cataratas del Iguazu. There is a point there where you can be at the limit of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. If you like the sea, you can go to Buenos Aires, Mar del Plata, Pinamar, San Bernardo, or if you want to go with friends, I recommend Villa Gesell.

I live in San Rafael, Mendoza. In my opinion, it is one of the best places in Argentina. You have lakes and rivers, and we are surrounded by mountains. I love San Rafael.

In the south, you can visit the Glaciar Perito Moreno. It is a really big and famous glacier. You can also go to Puerto Madryn to see the penguins and whales. I don’t know those places, but I went to Las Grutas, which is a nice beach.

Last summer, I went to the United States for an exchange with the university. Luckily for me, I attended an English institute for 5 years, so I knew some things that my classmates didn’t. For example, when we went shopping, I knew how to ask different things from the shop attendants, like size and colors. One day, we went out to a bar, and there were some girls, but no one wanted to speak with them, except me, because my friends didn’t know what to say. It was also useful to ask for food at restaurants or the supermarket. I am thankful to my mom because she made me attend English classes.
