Would You Use Dating Sites?

Would you use dating sites?

Nowadays, more and more people are using dating sites to meet someone with whom to start a relationship.

On the one hand, you can meet people with different personalities and interests. You can also start a relationship slowly: first by texting or phone calls and finally by having a date. It’s easier to tell someone you don’t like them by text than to tell them face-to-face.

On the other hand, you never know if they might be cheating on you or laughing at you. This can hurt you a lot. Besides, people often lie about their lives, age, or physical appearance.

Even though a lot of people have found their better halves, I would never use dating sites because I think that they aren’t reliable and I like meeting people face-to-face, with its advantages and disadvantages.

Pocket Money

Pocket money

Nowadays, most children receive pocket money every week. I think this is very positive for them as long as there is a control (it is under control).

It’s important that children receive a small amount of money at first and that this is increased gradually. Often, when there is something they don’t want to do or it’s difficult for them, if we motivate them with some pocket money they strive to achieve it, adopting a routine. Furthermore, they must learn the value of money. While they learn to manage money, they practice maths doing additions, multiplication, and similar exercises with it. In addition, they don’t want the money for harmful things; instead, they want it to buy sweets, toys, stickers…

I think they should start receiving pocket money at about the age of seven because it is when they begin to develop their skills.

A Paranormal Phenomenon I Heard

Write about a paranormal phenomenon you have heard…

Mery and Sara, some of my friends from school, went on holiday to Sicily two years ago. But did they have fun?

One night, after having taken a walk by the sea, they returned to the hotel because they were tired. When Mery entered their room, she found a letter on the bed saying: “Your friend will die at 12.” Mery thought it was a joke and she didn’t give it more importance. They went to bed, but at 12 a.m. Mery heard a strong scream. Quickly, she went to Sara’s room. She was dead and covered in a lot of blood.

What happened that night? Who killed her? Why? Nobody ever knew.

Do You Use the Internet? When and What For?

Do you use the Internet? When and what for?

Nowadays, more and more people use the Internet. It is a worldwide communication and information system.

I usually use the Internet when I study, to get more information about topics in my class notes. It helps me understand the content for my exams easily. Also, I use it in the evenings to chat with my friends and to have video calls with my family, who are far away. It makes me feel closer to them. Moreover, I use it in my free time when I want to find out the timetable and the price of a film or an exhibition, for example.

To sum up, the Internet has become the principal tool of my daily life.
