Works for Berthing and Mooring:
That perform the following functions: Contact land-sea, surface crossing of goods, creating a terminal area of transportation systems and storage area of goods.
Types:
Dock: A structure with two vertical planes where vessels are attached to a horizontal plane through which the manipulation of goods is done.
Pontoons and platforms: Areas or pathways through which the transit of merchandise occurs.
Dolphin: An isolated structure used for ship berthing, the basic shape is a pile to which the ship is moored.
Floating structures: Equipped with an anchoring system, these are mooring buoys and systems for boat evacuation.
Types of Springs:
Commercial: General cargo, bulk solids, container cranes are transported and is the most used. Roll-on roll-off loading and unloading of goods is done through boulders, bulk liquid crude oil, liquefied gases, sometimes installations for liquefied gas passage.
Other springs: Sports, fishing, shop, military weaponry.
Features and Parts of a Wharf:
Operation area: Refers to the area where the work operation is performed.
Deposit zone: An area where buildings are placed for collection and storage of merchandise, etc.
Tooling for cranes: A set of tools for cranes, road, and pipeline services (phone, light, water, etc.).
Bound coronation, cliff, norais and bollards, fenders.
Building Types of Springs:
Spring containment with vertical cladding, platform dock, mixed pier.
Pier containment with vertical cladding: Acts by a structure made of vertical containment of terrain. (Materials: brick, blocks, boxes, reinforced concrete)
Piers platform: Contains no land in their extrados, this on stilts (inclined, prefabricated, in-situ) and batteries.
Mixed Springs: Batteries with retaining walls and sheet pile.
