Creating Engaging Multimedia Presentations
A presentation is a multimedia file that can contain text, graphics, photos, music, and video. Its organization is done by slides, which succeed one another under your control. Templates are presentations that have predefined design objects in the slides, such as the background, fonts, placement of text, and other objects that give the presentation a common appearance across all slides.
Interactivity: Establishing Hyperlinks
Interactivity is established by creating hyperlinks. Clicking on a button or text performs an action, such as opening a file or linking to a website. You can insert a hyperlink from the Insert menu, then selecting Hyperlink.
Interactivity in objects allows navigation to different slides in the presentation according to specific needs. It is configured by right-clicking the object and choosing the "Interaction" option from the menu.
Presentation Interface Elements

Guidelines for Effective Presentations
- Clear Objectives: Aim to present a few ideas for quick comprehension.
- Visual Support: Transmit ideas better with images, pictures, or graphics.
- Visual Consistency: Headers, logos, or dividers create a sense of continuity.
- Strategic Effects: Slide transition effects and special effects attract viewers, but overuse can distract from the main idea.
- Design Simplicity: The location of objects, background colors, and overall appearance should be simple. A highly charged design can distract the viewer.
Presentation Script and Content
Before creating a presentation, outline the content and flow of the application (introduction, development, conclusion).
Creating a Presentation Template
- Import the image (format, padding, bitmap models, import).
- Change the slide background (format, page tab, background, bitmap).
- Establish the design objects on each slide (view background, slide master).
- Save (file, template, save).
Special Effects for Objects
- Entrance Effects: Objects are initially hidden and become visible.
- Emphasis Effects: Highlight objects, visible from start to finish.
- Exit Effects: Objects disappear; initially visible, then hidden.
- Motion Paths: Make objects move along a predetermined line.
Transition Effects
Using the task pane (slide transition window), you can:
- Define the execution speed of the effect.
- Play a sound during the slide transition.
- Establish automatic slide advancement.
- Apply the selected effect to all transitions by pressing the "Apply to All Slides" button.
