Communism

Communism is a political and economic system. It’s defined as a system of government in which resources – such as mines, factories and farms – are owned by the whole population.Wealth is divided among citizens equally.Labor isshared equally as well.In this essay, we will focus on why the concept of Communism gained such popularity between different political parties across the world.

The idea of modern communism originated from the industrial revolution in Great Britain and French revolution in France. For most of the 20thCentury, communism was a major force in world politics.  About one-third of the world’s population lived under communist governments.  Because communist is anti-individualism, people under it get the same property and – despite the amount of work they have done. As a result, the economy will never be improved because people will never try their best to give hard work.  Many countries accepted the idea the idea of communism. Although the idea was accepted, some years later, people started to reject the idea, because economic development was not considered; the only moral it satisfied is the rights of the workers and the people, but that was never enough to provide a convenient economic development model.

Communism is also viewed by a religious standpoint.  Early Christianity supported a form of “common ownership” between everybody, emphasized in the New Testament, leading to the share of resources. Taking it back a little in history will lead us to ancient Jewish sects; like the “Essenes” that also supported egalitarianism and communal life. Aside from the roots of communism in Christianity & Judaism; it is also argued by Marx himself to exist even earlier than that: as early as the “Hunter-Gatherer” societies, it became commonly known between scholars as “Primitive Communism”. Though, the first detailed theorization wasn’t Marx’s; but the publication of “Friedrich Engels” under the name “The Origin of the Family, Private Property, and the State”.

The rise of the communism we know today –the communism of the soviet union- took place at the hands of “Joseph Stalin” who united the ideas of the two “fathers” of communism: Lenin & Marx. By uniting the ideas of both; Stalin was able to form the Soviet Union. We can consider Marxism to be the “Economical Doctrine of Marx”; while Leninism is the “building blocks of the communist government vanguard”. That way, the ideas of both Marx and Lenin were joined to create “Stalinism”; the system that the Soviet Union followed and became famous for. But uniting the ideas of both men did not work because they both had the same downfall of communist mentality: the society will not witness any kind of competing between the people to produce what is best; after all everything is shared.

As we discussed earlier in this paper; Communism in its modern forum was a product of the industrial revolution, but its concept was even older than that as “Karl Marx” have claimed. We also viewed Marxism, Leninism & Satanism and what they are, and the influence they had on entities like the Soviet Union.
