Characters:
Montresor: He is the protagonist of the story, an intelligent, serious, and very sensitive man. A man a bit negative but who does everything he wants. A man who decides to take revenge for an unfortunate situation that he could not control.
Fortunato: He is a dominant man and always sure of himself. He likes to laugh and make fun of Montresor and that will bring him great problems. Another minor character is Luchresi, who is a wine professional. The character refuses to accompany Montresor to carry out his macabre plans.
Stories:
The story I like the most is The Werewolf, written by Angela Carter, because I knew the traditional story of Little Red Riding Hood and I really liked the feminist vision of the protagonist of the story, a brave and strong girl who is not afraid of anything.
Edgar Allan Poe:
Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 19, 1809 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was an American writer, poet, editor, and literary critic. He went to the orphan because his father abandoned him and her mother died. Edgar went to the University of Virginia but left after a year, and he enlisted in the United States Army in 1827 under an assumed name. Poe and his works influenced literature around the world, but finally he died at 40 years old in Baltimore on October 7, 1849. The cause of his death is unknown.
