James Conway loves money. He has companies in many countries. James Conway is a rapacious person. James Conway takes a new job in Haiti. He meets a woman whose name is Karen Jackson on the plane to Haiti. After a short conversation, he learns that Karen Jackson is a doctor and she is going to Haiti to collect information for her book about Voodoo Island. James thinks it as nonsense. But the woman says there were some people who believed in Voodoo and that it might be true; and gives some information about Voodoo. But the man does not care. When the woman goes to the bathroom, Conway takes the book and sees Baron Samedi is mentioned in the book. He learns that Baron Samedi is the strongest and the most dangerous voodoo doctor, and that he is both dead and alive. But he thinks it as nonsense. After nine months he had built many houses and of course he earned lots of money. But still he wants more money. He wants to buy a place of an old graveyard to build hotels and shopping centers. Meanwhile, Karen starts collecting knowledge for her book. She learns there is a voodoo doctor living in the island by the name of Kee. She goes to Kee in his house and they speak about voodoo. Then, Kee wants to show his family's graves to Karen. In the graveyard, he shows his grandfather's tomb who was called Tim Atty and whose real name was Baron Samedi. She gets scared and leaves the graveyard. After a while, she comes back to the graveyard and notices some people around the graveyard. She asks why they were there. They say they will build some new buildings in the graveyard on behalf of James Conway Company. She gets surprised and goes to James Conway as soon as possible. She tells him about the situation and asks him to cancel. She says she can provide whatever he wants. Conway tells that he wants to live in a place with lots of rooms, people to enter into his service, lots of money in his account and not having to work. He asks her if she could give them; but although he is kidding he does not ignore what she says. Soon after the construction starts. Seeing this Kee casts a Voodoo spell. Conway goes to bed, but he can't sleep well. He has terrible dreams, and he sees Kee's grandfather. An clock alarm sounds and he wakes up. He goes to his office but he sees no one and comes back home. Then the alarm sounds again, and he goes to the office again. He thinks it's a dream but his secretary does not. Conway goes to his room. After a while, someone knocks the door. A man comes in and says "Do you know me? I am Kee's grandfather." and smiles. He gets surprised because he is the one that is mentioned in the Karen's book, Baron Samedi. Suddenly a telephone rings and he wakes up. He gets scared and wonders if it was a dream or not. When he goes to the bathroom to wash his face; he sees a skull and a snake in it. The skull suddenly comes to life and smiles. Conway recognizes the face of Baron Samedi. Suddenly alarm sounds and he wakes up. He starts crying. After few weeks the building work is stopped. Kee sees Karen coming towards him. She asks him to go to the hospital with her. They go to the hospital and she shows Conway who lies on a bed. He has gone mad. She tells that they can't solve the problem and asks if it's because of Voodoo and asks whether he can help. He refuses and says that he should feel happier in that situation. He says: "Look, he lives in a place with lots of rooms, have people to enter into his service, there are lots of money in his account and does not have to work."
