Babydoll's Fight for Freedom
In an action fantasy set within the vivid imagination of a young girl, her dream world offers the ultimate escape from a dark reality. Unrestrained by time and place, she's free to explore wherever her mind takes her, blurring the lines between reality and imagination. Locked away against her will, Babydoll (Emily Browning) remains determined to survive.
Driven to fight for her freedom, she rallies four other young women: the outspoken Rocket (Jena Malone), the street-smart Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens), the fiercely loyal Amber (Jamie Chung), and the reluctant Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish). Together, they band together to escape their terrible fate at the hands of their captors: Blue (Oscar Isaac), Madam Gorski (Carla Gugino), and the High Roller (Jon Hamm).
Led by Babydoll, the girls engage in fantastical warfare against samurais and serpents, wielding a virtual arsenal. They must decide what they're willing to sacrifice to stay alive. With the help of a Wise Man (Scott Glenn), their unbelievable journey promises freedom if they succeed.
The Bride's Vengeance
In El Paso, Texas, a young woman awakens from a four-year coma to find her baby daughter gone. She immediately vows revenge on those responsible. Her story reveals a checkered past as a member of an elite squad of assassins, highly trained in martial arts and advanced sword fighting.
Her plans for marriage and a peaceful life were shattered by her boss, known only as "Bill." Bill and his squad attacked her wedding, leaving no survivors. The woman, known as "The Bride," heads to Pasadena, CA, to confront another on her list. Then, she travels to Okinawa, Japan, where she meets Hattori Hanzo, a legendary blade maker.
Hanzo, who had retired from his craft, reluctantly crafts her a new sword, which she uses to exact her revenge. Now in Tokyo, The Bride sets her sights on O-Ren Ishii, the head of the Japanese mafia and leader of the army that attacked her wedding. Will The Bride succeed in her plans and deliver Bill his just deserts?
