Alternative Plan for Bill's Knee Injury
Dear Bill,
I'm sorry to hear about your knee injury. Despite that, I've come up with an alternative plan for our trip.
There's a camping site with a lake and beautiful views where we can do various activities, such as a guided forest walk or sailing on the lake. This way, you won't have to walk too much due to your knee injury.
The weather is usually sunny, but it can be a bit chilly in the mornings, so I recommend bringing a jacket.
For lunch, we can have a picnic in the forest under the shade of the trees. I'll bring some Spanish food, like gazpacho, for us to enjoy.
Information Request for Spanish Course in Malaga
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am interested in taking a Spanish course in Malaga and would appreciate it if you could provide me with the following information:
- A list of academies that offer Spanish courses for foreigners during the summer (July to September), including their postal or email addresses.
- Price lists for the courses, if available.
- Information about 'pensiones' or self-catering apartments for rent during the summer, including contact addresses and phone numbers for bookings.
- General information about the city of Malaga, its tourist attractions, history, and some 'do's and don'ts' for first-time travelers in Spain.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Yours faithfully,
Gordon Curruthers
Compensation Request
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent flight I took with your company on February 22nd.
Our flight, XL0123, was scheduled to depart from Gatwick airport at 8 am for Madrid, with a connecting flight to Seville. However, there was a two-hour delay at Gatwick, causing us to miss our connection.
As it was a day return flight and there were no other flights to Seville that day, we lost the entire day.
To make matters worse, none of the Excel employees could provide us with a reason for the delay or offer us alternative flights that departed before ours.
I am seeking compensation for the damages incurred due to this incident.
Cordially,
Our Order No.: 345/29
Order Discrepancy
Dear Sir/Madam,
We are writing to express our concern regarding a recent order (No. 345/29) we placed with your company.
Instead of receiving the 500 cases of virgin olive oil we ordered, we received only 250 cases. Additionally, we received 150 cases of sunflower oil, which we did not order.
This discrepancy has caused us significant inconvenience. We request that you take steps to avoid similar mistakes in the future. If such errors continue, we may be forced to terminate our business relationship with your company.
We would appreciate a prompt delivery of the remaining cases of virgin olive oil and instructions on how to return the sunflower oil.
Yours faithfully,
María Olalla Vázquez
