Advertising, Consumption, and Recycling Impact

Without Advertisements, People Wouldn't Buy Products

Without advertisements, people wouldn't buy products.

It is well known that the use of advertisements has increased over the last few decades. Nowadays most companies use this method to attract buyers. However, some people think that advertisements are excessive.

Personally, I feel that it is the best way to sell all types of products. For example, every day we use mobile phones and, when we go on the internet, we can see a lot of advertisements. It's not the only method; other companies prefer traditional approaches using cars, buses, or posters to promote their products.

Furthermore, in my opinion, if advertisements didn't exist, sales of products worldwide would drop significantly. Consequently, businesses would plummet, and it would be a horrifying moment for the global economy.

On the whole, I think that without advertisements people would not buy products as readily; advertising will continue to be one of the best methods to sell.

Common Advertising Channels

  • Digital ads on mobile phones and websites
  • Outdoor advertising: cars, buses, posters
  • Traditional media: TV, radio, print

If You Only Recycle in Your Country, Would You Help the Planet?

If you only recycle in your country, would you help the planet?

Nowadays, the number of people who recycle is minimal, and for that reason I ask myself: if we all recycled a bit, would we change the world? However, some people feel that if they don't recycle, nothing will happen.

Personally, I believe that everybody should recycle to help the environment. For example, I think it would be a good idea to have a company dedicated to recycling in each city, or to pass a law requiring everyone to recycle.

Furthermore, in my opinion, recycling in your local area is good, but you also have to do it in other places you visit. Nevertheless, this topic is very important, and I think that together we could change the current negative situation.

On the whole, I think that young people must recycle more instead of throwing products into rivers or the sea. However, if you only recycle in your area you help a little, and as we know the world needs major help, so we have to start recycling in all the places we go.

Ways to Improve Local and Global Recycling

  • Establish local recycling centers in every city
  • Create laws and policies that require recycling
  • Educate young people about proper waste disposal
  • Encourage recycling in all places you visit, not only at home
