Life in Sagunto: A Personal Story

Hi, my name is Laura, and I'm from Spain. I'm a nanny. I'm single and I don't have children. I live in Sagunto. It's a big town, about 30 kilometers from Valencia. It's a nice town. There are a lot of parks, and there is a good cinema. In my free time, I like to go to the beach or go to the cinema. I like to play football with my dog. What are you going to do this summer? Do you have any plans? We're going to go on holiday to Galicia. It's very beautiful there. Write to me and tell me about your life. Best wishes, Laura.

A Typical Sunday

Last Sunday, I got up at 9 o'clock in the morning. I had a cup of milk and watched TV. Then, I made breakfast. I had cereals. I never have a big breakfast on Sunday. In the afternoon, the weather was beautiful, and we went for a long walk in the park. In the evening, when my parents were in bed, my boyfriend and I talked about our day and laughed a lot. I went to bed early because I was tired, and I start work early on Monday.

My Brother, Alvaro

I have a brother named Alvaro. He's 13 years old, and he's a student. He studies in the high school in Puerto de Sagunto. He lives with me and my parents. He doesn't have a girlfriend, but he has a lot of friends because he is very friendly and funny. He is always laughing too. He likes to play football and computer games, but he doesn't like to read. He has brown eyes and black hair. He's short and strong. He's very handsome.

A Typical Weekday

I get up at 8 o'clock and have breakfast, a glass of milk. Then, I put on my clothes and tidy my room. When I finish, I do homework until 11 o'clock. At half past 11, I have lunch and walk the dog. At half past 12, I start to make dinner for my parents and me. After dinner, I sleep until half past 3. At 4 o'clock, I work until 6 o'clock. At 6 o'clock, I do some of my hobbies or rest. At 7 o'clock, I start my English classes until a quarter to 9. At 9 o'clock, I get home and have dinner with my parents. Later, at half past 9, I study some subjects and surf the internet. Finally, at 11 o'clock, I prepare my student's bag and my clothes, and I lie down to sleep until the next day.

Trip to Galicia - Part 1

I went to Galicia last summer with my family. We stayed in the capital. We got up at 9 o'clock in the morning, and we had breakfast and watched TV. Then, we went to visit some monuments and find the best restaurant to eat. In the afternoon, we went to the beach or to the swimming pool for refreshment and recreation. In the evening, when my parents were in bed, my boyfriend and I talked about our day and laughed a lot. I went to bed early because I was tired, and I got up early.

Trip to Galicia - Part 2

I went to Galicia last year with my family. We went by car, and our dog came with us. We stayed in the capital. Our hotel was really terrible; it was very expensive and had poor quality. We visited the city and a lot of shops. My mother bought me some souvenirs. We went to the beach too. It was a beautiful beach, but I didn't swim because the water was very cold. After a week, we came home very happy. I recommend Galicia because it's a beautiful city, the people are friendly, and the food is very good, but I don't recommend the hotel.
