Basics:
· Person who has an alteration (of greater or lesser degree) temporarily or indefinitely and can be physical, mental or social.
Deficiency: within the health experience, an impairment is "any loss or abnormality of structure or psychological, physiological or anatomica.Se characterized by lost or abnormalities that may be temporary or permanent among which include the existence or appearance of an anomaly, defect or loss caused to a member, organ, tissue or other body structure, including our own systems of mental function. Disability: a disability is "any restriction or lack (resulting from an impairment) of ability to perform an activity in the manner and within the range considered normal for a human being." It is characterized by excesses or deficiencies in performance and behavior in a normal routine activity, which can be temporary or permanent, reversible or irreversible and progressive or regressive. Disabilities may arise as a direct result of deficiency or a response of the individual, especially psychological, to physical, sensory or other. Disability is the objectivity of a handicap and, as such, reflects changes at the level of the person. Handicap: a disadvantage for a given individual resulting from impairment or disability that limits or prevents the fulfillment of a role that is normal for you (depending on age, sex and social and cultural factors). This concerns the value ascribed to the situation or experience of an individual when it departs from the norm. It is characterized by the discrepancy between the performance and status of the individual and the individual himself or espectaticas the particular group they belong to. Handicap are, therefore, the socialization of an impairment or disability, and as such reflects cultural consequences, social, economic and environmental pear individual arising from the presence of impairment and disability.
