Top Inventions: How E-books, Mobiles, and TV Changed Life
The Rise of E-books and Digital Reading
Recently, companies have started selling electronic books, or e-books, which can be read on small computers called e-book readers. In my opinion, e-books are better than paper books. Paper books aren't convenient; they're heavy, and in addition, they need a lot of space. On the other hand, hundreds of e-books can be stored on one e-book reader.
Also, you can buy e-books at any time from a computer or straight from the e-book reader. But e-books are not just convenient; they also help the environment because they don't use paper. Not everyone likes e-books. Some people enjoy the smell and the touch of paper. But not everyone liked the car when it was first invented. That didn't stop it from becoming popular.
The Impact of the Mobile Phone
There have been many amazing inventions in the last one hundred years. In my opinion, the most important invention of all is the mobile phone. Thanks to the mobile, you can communicate with people in other countries almost instantly. With a mobile camera, you can also see your friends while you chat.
The mobile is a wonderful place to get information. You can browse many free encyclopedias, and most newspapers have websites. In addition, you can use the mobile to:
- Shop online
- Watch concerts
- Listen to radio programmes
- Take virtual tours of museums
No other invention has had such a great effect on people. If someone hadn't invented this incredible tool, the world would have been very different today.
The Evolution of Television
There have been many amazing inventions in the last one hundred years. In my opinion, the most important invention of all is the television. Thanks to the TV, you can see what happens in other countries almost instantly. The TV allows us to watch all kinds of series of any genre.
The TV is a wonderful place to get information. You can entertain yourself in your free time, see the things that you like, enjoy, and laugh. Watch what you want and when you want to. No other invention has had such a great effect on people. If someone hadn't invented this incredible tool, the world would have been very different today.
