Can You Tell Me a Little About Yourself?

My name is Dániel, and I am twenty-four years old. I live with my parents, my older brother, and my two dogs in Santander. I usually take my dogs for walks every day on the beach or in the mountains. I am studying primary education because in the future I would like to be a teacher in a school. I also play soccer because I have been playing for several years, and it is my favorite sport.

Describe the City You Live In

Santander is a small coastal city in northern Spain, with beautiful sea and mountains. The weather is moderate; it is never too cold in winter nor too hot in summer. However, it rains year-round, which explains the many green fields. Transport connections, both within the city center and to other surrounding towns, are good, making it very easy to get from one place to another.

What’s Your Favorite Way to Relax?

What I usually do to relax when I am most stressed is go to the gym to clear my head or watch a mystery movie, since it is my favorite genre.

What Are Your Strengths and Weaknesses?

I consider my strengths to be that I am nice and friendly, and I have the initiative to make any kind of plan.
My weaknesses are that I have little patience, and sometimes I get stressed easily, which leads me to react quickly without thinking carefully.

Are You Currently Studying Anything? If So, Explain What You Do

I am currently studying primary education, as I would like to be a teacher in a school.
My favorite age to teach are eight- and nine-year-olds because I believe they already have the capacity to understand and reflect more deeply.

Have You Ever Worked? How Long Have You Been Working There?

I have been working in various fields for several years.
I started coaching children in the soccer team I played for.
I have also worked at summer camps.
Now I am working at a plastics factory, but I definitely enjoy coaching children the most because I see myself reflected in them when I was their age and started to play my first games.

What Do You Like or Dislike About Your Job?

What I like most about my current job at the plastics factory are my colleagues.
Most of them are my age, and we get along well when it comes to working.
What I like least is the schedule, because we rotate, and sometimes I even have to work at night.

What Would Be Your Dream Job?

My dream job would be to be a principal at a school in Santander, preferably, because that is where my family lives.
I know that being a principal is a big position and requires great responsibility, but I believe that with good discipline and determination I can achieve it.

What Are Your Future Goals?

My short-term goals are to finish my teaching degree and continue studying to pass the competitive exams.
I would also like to continue playing soccer and win a title with my soccer team.
In the long term, I plan to buy a motorcycle with the money I save, as I have always been drawn to that world.

What’s a Typical Day Like for You?

A typical day in my life is getting up early in the morning, walking my two dogs on the beach, and then I usually study or do some class activity until lunchtime.
Afterwards, I go to work and don’t return home until the evening.
Depending on my schedule that day, I sometimes have time to go to the gym or meet up with my friends.

Do You Prefer Mornings or Evenings? Why?

I am a morning person because I like to get up early to make the most of the day and not waste time.
Plus, I have more energy to study in the morning, and I like to use the afternoons for activities that do not require as much effort.

If You Could Travel Anywhere, Where Would You Go?

If I could travel anywhere, I would definitely go to Thailand, because I think it is a totally different country from mine and has a very striking culture.
Also, I find both the tropical beaches and the temples spectacular.
One of my friends has been there and told me the people are very nice and the food is worth trying.

What Kind of Music Do You Like?

My favorite style of music is reggaetón because it motivates me to listen to it when I am most bored.
There are also several concerts featuring this style of music that I hope to attend this summer, because they usually feature artists I listen to.

Who Is Your Favorite Singer and Why?

My favorite singer is Feid because I like his lyrics and rhythm.
His songs always put me in a good mood, and I can listen to them at any time of the day.
I also like the way he performs live in concerts.

My favorite celebrity is Lionel Messi because he is very talented and gifted.
I admire him not only for his success in football, but also for his attitude and dedication.

My favorite series is Money Heist because it has a lot of action and suspense.
