The Debate on Obligatory Education: Pros and Cons

English2.07 KB

Firstly, obligatory education is the teaching that the children receive obligatorily until a determinate age. So, that is different depending on the country, because if the country is more advanced than another, the system probably will work better and also, education will be better.

On the one hand, obligatory education shouldn't be questioned because of thanks to it people have a supposedly a good education. So, at the school, children learn, apart from necessary things how maths or general culture, they learn good modals, socialize... Basically, they grow up there, and they learn about general things of life.

On the contrary, there are people that think that obligatory education is bad, because, for example, they think that things that are taught at schools aren’t useful for life and they could change those things for others that will be necessary, how, things like to cook.

Another aspect that supports this topic, is that if children go to school, and have the knowledge, they have more probabilities to find work because normally, people ask for the accreditation about your school notes because with that way, they can see how applied people, if they are very smart or not much…

But, on the other hand, people think that this obligatory education arrives until a large age because normally, around fifteen, the teenagers have an idea about they want to be, and there are people that want to be another thing that at school don't teach  or simply, they don't like to study, and the school or the high school are like a prison for them.

In conclusion, to my mind, I think that obligatory education, obviously has good advantages, apart from that is free, they are that people can learn about the necessary things or general culture and they also can have a good education. So, I agree with this topic, but I have a problem with that, an that's that arrives until a large age, and I disagree with that because there are people who are not made to study and they don't want to follow with that. Finally, I think that education in our country needs improvement.
