The aim of this proposal is to analyze how periodontal health influences the control of blood glucose levels in diabetic patients. This topic is highly relevant in both dentistry and medicine because these diseases are prevalent worldwide and strongly impact quality of life. The main objective is to determine whether improving oral health could contribute to better systemic outcomes for people with diabetes.

Bioeconomy Trends, Fast Food Habits and Antioxidant Health

Medicine and health sciences3.13 KB

Bioeconomy Publications in Spain (2005โ€“2019)

As we can see in this graph, from the years 2005 to 2008, we had a very stable number of bioeconomy texts published in Spain. However, in the year 2009, there was a sudden take-off from five texts published in the previous year to 20 in the following one, due to a research program incentive from the Spanish Government. Then, the number of published texts suddenly crashed to seven in the year 2010, probably because of the conclusion of this government program. Following this decrease, from 2010 through the next five years, we can see a gradual increase in publications until it reached a stable number of 20 for the following four years.
