Personal Reflections on Life's Journey

English2.78 KB

High School Reflections

High school has given me very good and not so good moments, but it was undoubtedly the best time of my life. I had many friends, and the days in class were fun and enjoyable. I remember that the first day of high school I entered with a lot of fear of not making friends since I didn't know anyone, but after the first playground I had already made 3 friends, one of whom today is my best friend. A not so good stage in high school was repeating the course, since I had a bad time both socially with my new classmates and on a personal level.

The Digital Connection

Today, both new and old generations have something in common: the need to connect to the internet, either to work or to hang out. I think that punishing a person without...

A Family Journey to Tarapoto and the Heights of Kuelap

Journey to Tarapoto: Family Roots and Long Travels

My family and I had always wanted to go to Tarapoto because my mother grew up there, so our vacations started thanks to that connection. First, I had to travel from Ica to Lima. Since the trip was longer than the one to Chincha, I brought different types of books to avoid boredom, including:

  • Magazines
  • A novel
  • A travel guide to prepare for the trip

From Ica to Lima: Preparing for the Flight

After finally arriving in Lima, we had to take a plane to Tarapoto. The most amusing thing that happened to us was that we had to help a foreign couple who did not speak the language well, and we advised them to use a Dictionary. After helping them, we boarded the plane. Since we traveled at night, I remembered...

Life's Milestones: Celebrations, Choices, and Language Skills

A Memorable 40th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

Last Saturday night, my grandparents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They had a big party for everyone in the ballroom of a local hotel. It was absolutely fantastic!

To begin with, the atmosphere was great. There was a band playing music from the 1970s, and when I walked in, almost everyone was dancing. The room was beautifully decorated with colorful flowers, enormous gold-colored balloons, and old photos of my grandparents. The crowd of over 200 guests was an interesting mix of young and old. Some people were wearing 1970s-style clothing and looked really cool.

While the dessert was being served, the band began to play my grandmother's favorite song, "Moon River". Suddenly, my grandparents...
