My name is Camila Domínguez Távara and I am 19 years old. I am Peruvian, originally from Peru, and I currently live in Madrid in a spacious, historic apartment with my mother. I work at Carrefour in the Commercial Administration department and am currently studying for an Administration and Finance vocational degree. Upon graduation, I plan to attend university while continuing to work to support my mother.
My weekday routine begins at 5:00 a.m. My commute involves a train and a private company bus, taking approximately 90 minutes. I use this time to sleep and listen to music. My workday runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by online studies in the evenings. On weekends, I enjoy sleeping in and attending swimming lessons.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching TV shows, and relaxing. I am also passionate about extreme sports. Last summer, I embarked on a solo trip where I went skydiving, wakeboarding, and boating, in addition to hiking in northern Spain. While the trip was fantastic, the language barrier inspired my goal to travel the world and learn multiple languages.
My Ideal Neighborhood
My ideal neighborhood features essential amenities within easy reach:
- Nearby: A supermarket for groceries, a health center for my allergy medication, and a train and bus station for my travels.
- Within a ten-minute walk: A swimming pool for my training, a shopping center for fashion, and cafes for dining.
My Childhood Hero
My childhood hero is Maria Parado de Bellido, a courageous woman who fought for Peru's freedom. I admire her because she chose to sacrifice her life rather than betray her people. Her loyalty and courage were boundless. We share a sense of determination and a commitment to protecting our loved ones, regardless of the obstacles.
