Literary Reflections and True Crime Accounts

Book Review: The Postman (Neruda)

One of the last books I read is called The Postman (Neruda). It is about a young man named Paul who decides to look for a job. He is offered a position as a postman, but his route requires him to travel far to deliver mail to a single person: a very famous writer. Paul cycles long distances, carrying heavy loads of letters from fans.

Paul becomes friends with the writer. One day, the writer teaches Pablo how to use metaphors to woo the girl he likes, and Pablo succeeds. At the end of the book, the postman dies.

A Notorious Crime Incident

One of the crimes that has most caught my attention happened recently in the South. A man entered a shop. Due to circumstances I don'...

Michael Jackson Lyrics: Ben, Heal the World & Classic Hits

English3.07 KB

Ben

We both found what we were looking for.
I'll never be alone.
You're always running here and there.
You feel you're not wanted anywhere.
If you ever look behind, there's something you should know.
I used to say 'I' and 'me'.
I used to say 'I' and 'me'.
Ben, most people would turn you away.
They don't see you as I do.
I wish they would try to; I'm sure they'd think again.

Blame It on the Boogie

Blame it on the boogie.
My baby's always dancing, and that's no lie.
At every kind of disco.
Don't blame it on the sunshine.
Don't blame it on the moonlight.
Don't blame it on the good times.
Blame it on the boogie.
Don't blame it on the sunshine.
Don't blame it on the moonlight.
Don't blame it on the good times.
Blame it on the boogie.
Spellbound rhythm...
