Maria's Town: Favorite Places, Shopping, and Vacation Adventures
Maria's Town: Favorite Places and Adventures
Hi Alice,
How are you? I hope you're well. This time I'm writing to tell you about my favorite place to go with friends in my town. In my town, we have a large shopping center called El Agua. There are more than two thousand stores, but what stands out the most is that it has a supermarket that has everything. Not only that, but there is also a place for massages. The commercial center is on the outskirts of my town, between a gym and a veterinary clinic, on Mar Street. Agua is the largest mall in the United States. I go there every day or two and I always pick up something. It also has two or four-story stores; this mall has 60 floors.
Well, that's all for now. I hope to hear from you soon.
Love,
Maria XXXXX
Favorite Spots and Christmas Magic
My favorite places in my town are when it is decorated for Christmas. Everything is full of lights, and Santa Claus comes. I also like the bookstore, the shopping center, and the supermarket, but yes, when it is decorated for Christmas, it amazes me. Christmas seems so beautiful to me that I even go through the streets giving chocolates. I always ask Santa Claus that my town continues to be as it is. The supermarket is large and has a great variety of food, and at Christmas, they give away everything that was not sold. The shopping center is very big, and on Black Friday, they always give us a t-shirt and so on with all the things.
Vacation in Navaluenga
My last vacation was in Navaluenga, which is a town in Ávila. To get there, I went by car. It was a rather long 6-hour journey because we stopped every 30 minutes. On the trip, I went with my parents. When I got there, I was astonished to see how the town had changed; it had been 6 years since I had been to see my family. I stayed at my uncles' house. They had a huge pool, but most of the time, I stayed in helping my cousin with her job. I stayed for almost two months, from August 1 to September 12, when I had to come back to go to school. My parents came before, but I stayed with my uncles and my aunt's parents. I visited many places that I did not remember in Navaluenga. I also went to Avila and Madrid, which is 1 hour away. Then I came to Padre Nda in my uncles' car, and we stopped for lunch in La Cañiza; after 6 hours, we needed it.
A Day with Friends
Yesterday, I went to eat with my friends to catch up on things. Then we went shopping at the mall, where we bought a lot of clothes. When we finished shopping, we went to have coffee and some donuts at a pastry shop. When we finished, we went to get our nails done, which took at least 2 hours or so per person. The day went by at the mall. When it was half past ten, we went to eat a pizza and some beans, and that was all great. When I got home, I brushed my teeth and went to sleep.
