Unit 1: UFO Sightings and Scientific Inquiry

Did many people report the UFO? Yes, many people reported seeing it in the early morning of May 31, 1998.

What was it like? All witnesses described it as a huge, 100-meter-wide object shaped like a diamond.

How long have scientists been trying to answer these questions? They have been researching these phenomena for years.

Have humans ever had contact with aliens? No, nobody has seen them. A famous Nobel Prize-winning physicist suggested they might not exist because our galaxy is small enough that sophisticated civilizations should have already encountered one another.

Topic 2: Wildlife Management and Social Issues

Are farmers paid compensation for livestock killed by wolves? They are in some countries, but this is becoming increasingly expensive and is not a long-term solution. The problem is that we must learn to control the wolf population, as we cannot allow them to remain unchecked; controlling their numbers remains the only way to limit the damage they cause.

Combating Child Labor

What does that organization fight against? It fights against child labor involving children between the ages of 5 and 14. A 20-year-old founded the organization six years ago, and nowadays, there are many branches worldwide.

Environmental Impact and Sustainability

Why do industries damage the environment? Because leading industries produce greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming.

How can we help reduce this damage? By recycling our waste products, such as aluminum cans and glass bottles.
