Physical Description and Qualities

Physically, Jon is a teenager who looks younger than most others his age. He is of average height, neither fat nor thin. His plump, round face is framed by a mass of wavy white hair, and his sparkling blue eyes show his humor and friendliness. He also has a large nose. He prefers wearing casual, comfortable clothes; I don't think I have ever seen him in a perfectly ironed suit.

Talking about his qualities, I can say that he tends to be rather arrogant with unknown people. Nonetheless, he is kind-hearted, humble, and very generous. With his friends, he is kind and affectionate.

Visit to the Windy City

In October 2012, I went to Chicago, also known as the Windy City. It is in the east of the United States and is the biggest city in Illinois, where three million people live.

Downtown Attractions

• The center of Chicago offers many amazing skyscrapers. One well-known structure is the Willis Tower, as it is the tallest building.
• In this part of Chicago, you can also see ancient museums, like the Museum of Contemporary Art or the Museum of History.
• There are many parks, such as the remarkable Millennium Park, where the fascinating monument called “The Bean” (due to its shape) is located.
• A popular tourist attraction is riding a boat on the Chicago River. The views are beautiful, and you can see the skyline.
• Chicago has many malls where you can go shopping or eat something.

City Environment and Transport

Chicago is a very clean city with not too much pollution. This is because most citizens commute to work by train, as it is very cheap and fast. Many people also choose the bicycle to move around because it doesn't pollute, and you can enjoy the views.

Personal Impression

I like Chicago. I think it’s the best place in the United States to visit because it has many trendy and amazing buildings, similar to New York, but it isn’t as polluted and crowded as New York.
