The Electric Revolution of Nikola Tesla and Evolution of Mobile Phones

NIKOLA TESLA

The person I have chosen is Nikola Tesla, the inventor of the induction coil that inaugurated the era of radio, the author of the transmission system that brings home the electrical energy, discovering an extraordinarily simple and effective principle in which are based our electric motors and almost anything else that carries a plug. The reason for my choice is because everyone has heard about Edison but the name of Tesla has always been kept in the background. Tesla was rather the Steve Jobs of the electric revolution, the visionary with an entrepreneurial mindset, and the most skilled to put into practice the scientific ideas of others. In 1885 George Westinghouse became interested in the great idea of the inventor Tesla, the AC motor. The AC motors devised by Tesla were and still are much more effective than Edison's. The fight was long and fierce, but the engines of Tesla and Westinghouse were imposed, and with them AC distribution systems are used around the world. Therefore, if Tesla hadn't existed we wouldn't have alternating current. Without this invention we would get home and things as simple as turning on the light or plugging in and charging your Smartphone wouldn't be possible. Many people believe that the invention of the radio was Guglielmo Marconi's work however the main father of the invention was Tesla. Marconi among them use 17 of the Tesla patents. So if Tesla hadn't existed we wouldn't have a radio. Other things we wouldn't have if Tesla hadn't existed would be remote control. He invented the first remote-controlled device, a toy boat, and presented it in public with a demonstration at Madison Square Garden in New York. Therefore, if Tesla hadn't existed the remote control wouldn't have existed .... we would have to get up from the sofa to switch channels on television. And to finish and as a reflection, if Tesla hadn't existed Edison would have been a great discoverer? I think the competition they maintained made them better.

Evolution of the mobile phone

In the first part of the story, people bought a mobile phone because of its size, it was what mattered most. We were looking for to have the mobile more and more small.

There was a time when a mobile phone was judged not by its screen resolution, power or camera, no. The first mobile phones, in the 80's, were huge, weighed more than half a kilo, and little by little evolved to create smaller terminals.

Time passed and what people demanded was that the mobile phone could do something more

Then the mobile phones became more and more useful. The mobile telephones no longer sent just SMS or called. They had more multimedia and entertainment functions - it was impossible to remember the mythical Snake - and the first ones with the camera began to appear. The concept of mobile phone came into into another dimension, to become known as smartphone, as we know it today.

Today, we want a big screen to be able to fully enjoy all that the mobile phone offers. So, what we want is that they have a few pixels, that their power allows us to open an application quickly, to take some spectacular photos ....

Therefore, we have experienced the transition from huge phones with tiny screens, to just the opposite, small phones with giant screens

After all the technological advances we have experienced, we can say that the mobile phone not only serves us to communicate and has become an indispensable gadget for our day to day
