Project Organization and Infrastructure
Effective organization and infrastructure are essential to address the financial, technical, and administrative aspects of any project. Applying these criteria to the implementation of work, we establish that planning is the study and forecasting of all activities necessary for project completion. This ensures that tasks are executed with the highest quality, at the optimum time, and at the lowest possible cost.
Planning knowledge is subject to the proposed work and security requirements, as well as resource management and scheduling, to establish control mechanisms that ensure compliance with the project plan.
Resource Management
Resources are the means necessary to complete the work. They are categorized into Human, Mechanical, and Economic resources.
Human Resources
Human resources are divided into the following categories:
- Skilled Technicians: Includes the Head of Work, assistants (Head of Production, Technical Assistants, Surveyors), and command staff (Managers, Supervisors).
- Specialists: Personnel dedicated to the direct execution of production tasks.
- Unqualified Workforce: Personnel who carry out support tasks for specialized staff.
These resources may be sourced through various channels:
- Company Staff: Hired by the company, either as permanent (template) or temporary staff.
- Project Staff: Hired specifically for the duration of the project or a specific task.
- Subcontractors: External entities contracted for the completion of specific work units.
- Self-Employed: Individuals contracted for specific work units under an independent agreement.
Mechanical and Economic Resources
- Mechanical Resources: Regulated through the machinery park, where management determines expansion needs or utilizes rental services.
- Economic Resources: Requires quantifying the portion of work covered by internal resources versus the need for external financing.
Implementation Deadlines and Scheduling
The programming and control of project deadlines are determined through a rigorous planning process:
- Calculate the duration of individual project activities.
- Interlink activities using a programming technique (e.g., Windows method).
- Document results in a Gantt chart to establish the official Work Program.
