  • Thomas: I'd like to go for a week in June. Is that high or low season?

Between the winter of 1778 and 1779 came the coldest winter that history had ever recorded. People got sick and died. Lyon became impoverished, and Jean-Luc grew unhappy. He had to spend time looking after his brothers while working in the bakery. Jean-Luc's father became...

Mastering Italian Dining and Global Table Etiquette

Authentic Italian Dining Experience

Restaurant: This is a traditional restaurant in the center of town which specializes in traditional Italian cooking. Our pizzas are baked in a traditional oven and are the best in town; moreover, the menu has all of the things you expect from an Italian restaurant—a good selection of antipasti, pastas, meat, and fish. This many dishes means the restaurant has to buy too many ingredients, so nothing is fresh. The service is also very quick, and I don't have enough time to read the menu. This restaurant is great for a quiet, intimate night or for big parties with seating for up to 40 people. In my opinion, it is the best place in town where you can spend a nice night in addition to eating the best pizza in...

Clare's Journey: A New Chapter in Love and Discovery

The Journey of Clare: A Mid-Life Discovery

This novel follows a journalist named Clare, a woman navigating a mid-life crisis. Pessimistic and disillusioned, she no longer believes in love following a difficult divorce. Her journey begins when she travels to Switzerland after her grandfather’s death. This trip evolves into a profound path toward personal discovery—a necessary hiatus from her work and routine that allows her to re-evaluate her life.
