SAN AUGUSTINE
Its existence is based on three arguments:
1. The testimony of all peoples, since they have always believed in a higher being.
2. The internalization of man, for to look you in you is eternal truths than yourself that can only come from God.
3. The universal order, as there are universal and eternal ideas that are immutable and can not change and its author can only be God.
St. Augustine gives God all the perfections in the extreme. Its main idea is the unity of God and His immutability, which are the higher grades of differentiation with respect God created beings. The ideas of all things are in the mind of God and God has for each of the creatures a "model or example." Accordingly I believe God. This is the theory exemplarism copies or clearly influenced by Platonic Augustinian.
St. Thomas
1. Existential theology: it says that if God exists and that its existence can be proved by reason. For a demonstration presents the 5-way Thomists:
a. For the motion: everything that moves is moved by another, the last mover is God. (Aristotle)
b. For the series of efficient causes: every effect has its cause. And this one. And so on. The ultimate cause is God. (Averroes)

c. For contingency: every contingent being has its sufficient reason in another necessary. (Maimonides)
d. For the degrees of perfection of things as God is perfect. (Plato)
e. By order of the world need a computer to be God. (Planting material)
These five ways we outline the way to ascend from the creatures to God. To this are applied to all the positive attributes. It is based on the analogy of creatures and God. Clearly influenced by Aristotelian analogy. But sometimes this s des analogies are analogies rather, they begin taking for granted that man is created. And this statement is not based on any analogy. Hence the criticism he received.
2. Essential theology: It deals with the properties of God, ie the divine attributes. It is based on the analogy between people and God. Hence we call analogical knowledge of God. It is developed in three ways:
· Positive route, which consists of attributing to God all the perfections which contain no imperfections.
· Via negative, that God is to deny everything that has to be imperfect.
· Way of eminence, who is getting the infinite assigned all perfection.
Thus St. Thomas and study finds a large number of attributes. The key is aseity, ie in God essence and existence are identified, or what is the same, God is the very cause of its own existence. Next come the entitative as unity and immutability, and operations, which consists of immanent God as the route and bystanders, as the creation or preservation.
