My Unforgettable Easter Holiday in Granada

Last year, my girlfriend and I spent our Easter holiday in Granada. It was a special trip because she had never been there before.

Visiting the Alhambra Complex

During the first day, we started by visiting the city's most important monument: the Alhambra. We woke up early, and when we entered the complex, we were stunned by its beauty. We walked hand in hand while we strolled through those lovely gardens. Later, we returned home and went to bed soon in order to see more monuments the next day.

The rest of that week was unforgettable and wonderful. If I had spent more days in Granada, I would have been so happy that I wouldn't have wanted to come back to Barcelona. To sum up, if I were you, I would spend some days in Granada, and I know we will return again.

Summer Days: Late Mornings and Village Fun

When summer arrives, everything changes because I don't have to get up early to go to school. I get up very late, usually around 11:30 AM. I hardly have breakfast. When I get up, I sweat so much that I just want to go to the swimming pool.

Village Activities with Cousins

After cooling off, I usually go to my village to spend a couple of days with my cousins. We really enjoy ourselves there. Our typical day involves:

  • Waking up and having a stroll around the village.
  • Going to the river to have a swim and trying to fish.
  • Returning to my grandmother's house for lunch.

Once we've had lunch, we watch TV and don't leave the house until six o'clock because of the intense heat.

The Thrill of Football: My Favorite Sunday Sport

Football is my favorite sport, and I watch it every Sunday. The stadium is very big, and every week more than 3,000 people attend.

Match Day Atmosphere and Rules

The spectators wear t-shirts and hats in our team colors, and they sing and shout very loudly. It's really exciting and entertaining.

The players wear their uniform and put on comfortable cleats to maintain traction while running. The game is very competitive. In each team, there are eleven players, including the goalkeeper. They play with a ball, and the object is to shoot the ball into the net of the opposing team.

When I watch the game, I feel very nervous and excited. When the referee blows the final whistle, everyone heads home.
