SECTION III.

Manchester is a city in England. My first time visiting was a year ago. I expected Manchester to be bigger and more interesting, although it is a city whose citizens are passionate about football.

When I arrived, I did a tour. Firstly, the tour started in Piccadilly Gardens, a central point in Manchester. After that, I went to the Cathedral of Manchester, which I couldn't appreciate fully because it was Christmas time. During that period of the year, the square is filled with malls. I ate the typical fish and chips for five pounds.

Secondly, I was at Manchester Arena, the biggest indoor venue in the United Kingdom. It was the site of a bombing in 2017 during a concert by singer Ariana Grande. Since that event, the 'Mancunian bee' symbol has gained more importance, signifying 'unity and power'.

Moreover, I was taken around the Northern Quarter, a very bohemian part of Manchester with many second-hand shops and coffee shops offering delicious cakes.

Finally, the tour concluded at the Arndale shopping center. It doesn't have anything special, but I love shopping, and I bought many souvenirs for my friends and family.
