My University Journey at UPSIN

Hi, my name is Fausto, and I would like to share my experience at university since my first year. When I started my first day of college classes at UPSIN, I was very nervous because I did not know anyone. While I cannot remember my first lecture, I vividly recall my first discussion group because a classmate was hostile toward me.

The first quarter was relatively easy, but the subjects became more difficult afterward. Initially, it was challenging to adapt to my classmates and the academic system; however, over time, I adjusted well. I hope to finish my degree and secure a great job.

Dress Code Standards

Elegant Casual

Women: Wear a pencil skirt or dress pants paired with a silk or button-up shirt and high heels.
Men: Wear colorful pants with a collared shirt and moccasins.
When to use it: Office parties, happy hours, and business lunches.

Dressy Casual

Women: Avoid denim, tennis shoes, and cotton tees. Instead, opt for silk pants, dress pants, or a skirt. Pair with patent leather flats or shoes with embellishments like bows or buckles.
Men: Wear trousers and a dress shirt with leather loafers, oxfords, or slip-on shoes. Pair with a blazer or sport coat. Avoid wrinkles or ill-fitting clothes. A tie is optional.
When to wear it: Church, dinner, or formal invitations.

Cocktail Attire

Women: Wear a shorter dress with some frill. The classic little black dress is perfect and allows you to show your personality through accessories.
Men: Wear a dark suit, coat, and tie. Dark jeans paired with a jacket and tie may be acceptable depending on the atmosphere.
