Ibero Admission Process: A Complete Walkthrough

If you want to know all the details of the UIA admission process, here is a step-by-step manual that will surely be very useful. Here you will find the links, costs, and descriptions you need to make your admission process simple.

Step 1: Registration

You will need to register to take your admissions exam online. On the portal, you must register your personal data, email, and password to generate a folio number, which you will use to consult your results later. Please note that after registration, you must pay a fee of 1,300 pesos to cover the cost of the exam.

Step 2: The Admissions Test

Once you have completed your registration, print your exam pass, which indicates the date and time you must attend the Ibero campus. On that day, arrive at Prolongación Paseo de la Reforma 880, Lomas de Santa Fe, 01219 Mexico City at least 30 minutes in advance. If you are applying to an Ibero campus in the interior of the republic, please go to your specific university campus. You will need to bring a photo ID and your test entry pass.

Step 3: Checking Results

Check your results on the official portal after you have submitted your exam. To do this, you will need the folio and password assigned to you during registration. Once you log in, download the Entry Instruction document, which provides:

  • Specific test results
  • Enrollment instructions and deadlines
  • Information about English certification requirements
  • Payment instructions and deadlines

Step 4: Final Registration

To complete your registration, you must pay the credits for your courses, totaling 30,261 pesos. Remember that the Ibero-American University does not charge a separate registration fee or any other additional costs.

You will then need to submit the following original documents (with the exception of the proof of address, which is submitted as a copy):

  • Birth certificate
  • High school diploma or certificate of completion
  • Signed letter of commitment
  • Proof of address (electricity, property, water, or telephone receipt)

Note: You must deliver the proof of address and letter of commitment immediately; however, you have 60 working days after the start of classes to deliver your birth certificate and high school record.

Step 5: Timetable and Credentials

Follow the instructions in the enrollment manual to obtain your student badge and download your class schedule. It is vital to complete this formality before classes begin, as your student ID is required for campus access and serves as the only valid form of payment at various locations within the university.
