The Sacrament of Marriage

"The family is at the center of the great struggle between good and evil, between life and death, between love and what is opposed to love."

The sacrament of marriage takes this for the other: to be the sacrament of something that already exists in the economy of creation, be the same conjugal covenant instituted by the Creator at the beginning.

Marriage is, according to the will of the Creator, a res sacra. Also among the non-baptized, marriages are, in the natural order, a sacred reality.

It requires: "Enter only one man and one woman."

The Nature of Law and Right

The law, as all social reality, is subject to the law of change.

Any human law reflects the physiognomy of the author, be it individual, corporation, or a nation. The quality of the law depends more on the moral quality of its rulers than on the form of government constituted.

Law and rule have to adapt to changes that life and society impose over time. The evolution of the law must conform to the social, political, and economic developments of our time, but without forcing the pace and the journey and soul of the people themselves; it must be prudent and sensible.

Policy and Citizenship

In every political community, the citizen has a priority position, being the home to all members of civil society.

  • The state will always remain subordinate to the principal element, the citizen: not the citizen to society in the state, but the state is created for the citizen and society.
  • The citizen is obliged to participate in the State to ensure that it fulfills its function. If the citizen forgets the state, the state acts freely and forgets the human being as the subject.

Economy and Well-being

The economy is a human activity directed at satisfying the material needs of man, family, and people.

The purpose of the economy is the formation of wealth and its gradual increase, not only in quantitative but also in qualitative terms: everything is morally right if it is oriented to the global development and solidarity of the man and society in which they live and work.

Therefore, the purpose of the economy is to ensure human and social well-being.

Communication and Media

"The leaders of the media have become doctors and teachers of the hearing world and image. They are a new category among educators of humanity."

  • The predominance of equity or exorbitant claims of political power in the information produced creates dark and winding roads, which become mere products of companies.
  • The world of information gives us a world of positive and negative reality. The most negative, according to ISD, are deculturation and misinformation.
