Describing a Friend

I'm going to explain what my best friend was like. He came to Barcelona from Colombia. He stayed here for 5 years, and then he went to Australia. He was a happy boy because he always smiled. He had dark eyes and dark hair too. He was chubby, but not too much. He liked playing. He liked reading too, and writing. He was very stubborn, but on the other hand, he was very helpful. I'm speaking about the past because I haven't known anything about him for a long time.

A Mountain Bike Trip

Last week, I went with my family on a mountain bike trip. First, we bought four bottles of water, and then we started the excursion. I was going first, then my father went, after that, my mother, and finally my sister. We had gone through the forest, but suddenly we saw a fire and my mother phoned a firefighter. They said that we should separate quickly from the fire, and we started to run! I was very scared, and my sister started to scream. My family and I were living on the edge, but the firefighters arrived with a truck and sprayed water on the fire, and my family and I survived thanks to the firefighters.
