Reglas para la Formación del Plural

  1. La mayoría de los sustantivos en inglés forman el plural añadiendo -s (car-cars).
  2. Algunos sustantivos que acaban en sonido silbante (-s, -ss, -x, -sh, -ch) añaden -es para formar el plural (box, boxes; bush, bushes).
  3. Añaden -es (knife, knives).
  4. Forman el plural de modo irregular (foot, feet; person, people; child, children; ox, oxen; man, men).
  5. Incontables siempre singular (sheep, sheep).
