City Life vs. Country Living

  • Vanesa: Hello, Fabiola, how are you?
  • Fabiola: Hello, Vane, very well, and you?
  • Vanesa: Fine, thank you.
  • Fabiola: Where are you living now?
  • Vanesa: I am living in Madrid; it is wonderful to live in a big city. And you? Where are you living now?
  • Fabiola: I am living in the Sierra de Madrid; I prefer living in the country.
  • Vanesa: I prefer to live in the city because you can do many things like shopping, cultural activities, and visiting museums.
  • Fabiola: In the country, you can live more quietly and do outdoor activities.
  • Vanesa: In the city, you can do many activities at night: monologues, pubs, and discos.
  • Fabiola: Also, in the winter, you can practice snow sports, and in summer, you can work out in the field with animals.
  • Vanesa: Well, I think that each place has its good side.
  • Fabiola: Yes, I agree.
  • Vanesa: It is best to live twice: once in the city and another time in the country.
  • Fabiola: Oh, yes, that would be great.
  • Vanesa: What time is it?
  • Fabiola: It is 5:00.
  • Vanesa: Oh no, it is late. I have to go, I am sorry.
  • Fabiola: Oh, don't worry.
  • Vanesa: I hope to see you soon.
  • Fabiola: Yes, I hope so too.
  • Vanesa: Waiter, the bill please? OK, thank you. Bye, Fabiola.
  • Fabiola: Bye-bye, Vane.
