Hydraulic Pump Flow Dynamics

The flow of liquid is moved over time. This unit varies the speed at which the pump operates. A variable speed drive may define the cylinder capacity of the pump. The theoretical output is calculated as: Theoretical Flow Capacity x Speed Rate. This value is always higher than the actual flow, as the pump has a specific volumetric efficiency due to internal leakage.
