Joseph Conrad is a daring man because he has always loved to take risks doing bungee jumping or climbing, but what he liked te most was going to other countries to help others.
When he was 19 years old, he gave up studying and decided to go to Africa to help people who did not have anything to eat or drink. So at the age of 20, he left with some colleagues. Before the trip they had to take many vaccines because they could get a disease. When they arrived they were there for a month, but the vaccines did not help much because after 2 weeks they had a very serious disease and had to return to Spain because they could die.
I admire him because he is a humble person.
