ANTERIOR PITUITARY HORMONES:

Growth hormone (GH): regulates growth. Affects protein, fats and carbohydrates.
Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH): stimulating the thyroid gland, regulates the secretion of thyroxin. 
Adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH): stimulates adrenal gland, controls the secretion of adrenalin.
Follicase- stimulating hormone (FSH): in females, it stimulates the maturation of egg cells and estrogen secretion of ovaries.
Lutenizing hormone (LH): in males, it stimulates the secretion of testosterone and sperm produced my testes. In women, it stimulates ovulation and corpus luteum formation. 
Melanocyte- stimulating hormone (MSH): affects the pigment released in skin.
Prolactin (PRL): in females, it stimulates de milk production.

POSTERIOR PITUITARY HORMONES:
Oxytocin (OH): in females, it makes the walls of the uterus contract during labour.
Antidiuretic hormone (ADH): make the kidneys reabsorb water.

Short -sighted people: longer eyeball. Diverging lens.
Long-sighted people: shorter eyeball. Converging lens
